How to install brushes - Ash - 11-10-2013
How to install brushes. (Photoshop cs6)
[ You will need to download some brushes, i use http://www.brusheezy.com/brushes ]
Spoiler:
Firstly, download your chosen brushe(s), and place the brush set in your Dekstop.
Make sure the brushes are in .ABR format.
Next, open photoshop, and create a new document.
When the document is open click the brush tool.

Now click the drop down menu that appears at the top of the window.

This will open another window which shows your current brushes:

Once this window is open click the settings icon.

This will open another list, which should look like this:

Click the option 'Load brushes'.

A load window should open up and then select your brush set.

Now, open up the settings again.
And your brush set should be added to the list.

Click this set, and a new winow should appear:

Choose 'Append' so the brushes are added to you current brush set.
Then, click the brush tool.
Now click the drop down menu that appears at the top of the window and if you scroll down your new brushes shall be in there.
And there are your new brushes!

I'd love a tutorial thread if possible :3 I just know how to add text effects and few things more...

Well if you could be more specific as to what you want a tutorial on, I may be able to make one for you.
For example, selecting parts of an image and then just editing/adding effects to the selected parts. That's called "masking" I think :S
