Small Remembrance Day manip - botín - 11-10-2013
"Never forget, always remember"
![]() I haven't tried manipulations before but I kind of like it. RE: Small Remembrance Day manip - Auth - 11-10-2013 Looks quite good, may I ask what was the OG image? RE: Small Remembrance Day manip - KaareK - 11-10-2013 Looks a little over-sharpened, and the text is kind of hard to read. But I would also like to see some of the original images. It looks good. Keep them coming mile:
RE: Small Remembrance Day manip - Matt - 11-10-2013 Going to agree about the text. I would honestly cut half that image out about to where the grass meets the sky and make it into a tag / signature. Looks great though! RE: Small Remembrance Day manip - botín - 11-10-2013 I kept the bottom bit in because it's a poppy field and I added a few gradient maps, I didn't do that much to be honest. I used: RE: Small Remembrance Day manip - Matt - 11-10-2013 Might I ask if you're in the military or a fan of it? I ask this because you seem to have that theme going on in this thread. I'm not sure if you know but the 11th of November is a day called 'Remembrance Day', dedicated to all those who lost their lives in past and present wars although we "celebrate" it, if you like, on the nearest Sunday which is today. About the poppys, "The significance of the poppy as a lasting memorial symbol to the fallen was realised by the Canadian surgeon John McCrae in his poem In Flanders Fields. The poppy came to represent the immeasurable sacrifice made by his comrades and quickly became a lasting memorial to those who died in World War One and later conflicts. It was adopted by The Royal British Legion as the symbol for their Poppy Appeal, in aid of those serving in the British Armed Forces, after its formation in 1921". RE: Small Remembrance Day manip - Ash - 11-10-2013 Very nice design goo, well done! RE: Small Remembrance Day manip - Matt - 11-10-2013 Ah, I wasn't but I feel bad not knowing about it since my best friend was in the Navy. Well, now I know.
RE: Small Remembrance Day manip - Cl0ud - 11-10-2013 This is good. But text will be more easy to read if you will change the glow from red to black, that will fit more even. 9/10 |
