OnePlus is Leaving North America and Europe - Oni - 08-30-2026
Oneplus will stop selling devices in North America, with more visibility planned for their subsidiary Oppo. Very sad to hear this, as I've used them for roughly 10 years and even had the limited edition Cyberpunk phone. Not many other phone manufacturers offer the same value right now.
I remember when the Oneplus One first launched around 2014, offering CyanogenMod pre-installed. This was a big deal at the time, as Samsung and HTC were the leading brands. Over time they became more commercialized, ditching CyanogenMod but still offering much better value than competitors.
