RE: apple , samsung, pixel - hixfin09 - 01-27-2025 are you sure? i heard pixel is the best because you can import your own OS and de-google easily or come closer with the option to sandbox each application RE: apple , samsung, pixel - Nullasian - 01-29-2025 Apple's iOS or if you're willing to go the extra mile, an phone with Android (Samsung, Google Pixel, ...) with GrapheneOS. RE: apple , samsung, pixel - xskwoo00 - 02-09-2025 read up on open source systems RE: apple , samsung, pixel - Drako - 02-09-2025 For the average person, iOS. Don't listen to what opensource evangelists try to tell you. Apple haven't given up their decryption keys to even prosecute terrorists. Of course, that could change in the future. But Apple doing something like that would compromise their bottom line, and brand. GrapheneOS is considered more secure than iOS and Android, but it lacks features making it a deal breaker for most people, including me. No text messages, no NFC, and some other missing features. You're also risking bricking your phone by flashing it over your stock Android installation. Graphene might not even be supported on your device either.
