Should i keep using steam? - Vroomer1 - 01-01-2025

Should i keep using steam? It says that i only am paying for a license to play the game and not actually the game. If i shouldn't are there any better alternatives?

I guess yes. But it dependes on your preferences

I don't see why not! Seem like a good enough system.

Don't think you'll find a better alternative honestly

Yeah, almost every digital platform is like that now—you don’t own the game, just a license to play it. Unless you’re buying physical copies or going full DRM-free with GOG, there’s not really a better alternative

Why not? Steam is a monopoly and there is nothing better than it
