Riskiest Decision You've Ever Made? - Jiggly - 10-09-2024

What's the riskiest decision you've ever made?

Preferably don't incriminate yourself if it's something serious, but you can share anything from quitting a job, to stunt jumping a dirt-bike whilst on fire and jumping out of a plane.

For me, I haven't made many risky decisions in life. The most risky would be choosing to fly to the US at 18, alone, to meet someone I'd never met IRL before. I had no back ups if they turned out to be a murderer... I'd be Casper the friendly ghost writing this to you all now if they had been one. Thankfully, it was fine.

Early on in the site's history, we acquired a few smaller boards. I did not have very much money at the time. There were a few times I had to go first (usually $1000+).

Everyone we dealt with was usually very honest, but I'd never recommend sending that much money to anyone without a middleman/escrow.

That's such an appropriate one to mention on SL for so many reasons (besides the obvious haha).
