Thought I'd ask for opinions, most people providing reviews/assurities on reddit etc dont generally understand how pc security works or just aren't paranoid enough lol

You won't ever know if repacks are safe. It's the risk you take. Most games will only be available offline anyway. You could just have an offline win10/11 boot, play the game and nuke the OS install.

i've used fitgirl repacks for years and its never had any kind of problems

If you really care about security & privacy maybe don't download cracks on a system you care about, but it's *probably* fine

I wouldn't trust them, they build reputation over many years and could get away with anything now.

I think the same but like I say above they could do anything write now and they only need to do it once. Maybe empty crypto wallets of all people who download? One time is enough.

If you have enough crypto to worry about fitgirl emptying it, I believe you wouldn't need to download games from repackers.. Wrong userbase
