I currently have the basic ps plus membership but the renewal is coming up so I figured I should upgrade it. Is the premium worth it regarding the games or should I continue with the basic one?

Basic mean Essential or what? If yes - ofc, you need to buy extra/deluxe sub, because there you can play any game without pay for them. Deluxe is the best (old games from ps1, vito and etc. PS). Last time play Ghost of Tsushima from Deluxe (perfect game)

And does it still stack? I know you use to be able to say buy a few years worth etc
