Since when do smartphones need a 2.3 GHz processor and two gigs of memory to run?
OT: I'm not gonna be buying simply because I don't have the money.
Plus I still hold the fact that you effectively are paying for a brand when buying apple products.

This is a part of the Nexus line, that is supposed to show what Android is really capable of. Originally it's a developer phone, but many people bought it because of the low price.
