when i put sinister.ly in a malware checker site it says that this site has a chance of giving malware, is this true, if so where, and how do i avoid it? im guessing from randoms posting sketchy stuff?

We only serve text/images and we have never hosted malware on our servers. We do allow members to post links, so we advise caution when downloading anything from 3rd party sites.

There is no malware in sinisterly. Another thing also, no popups which may divert users to other sites and distribute malware without admin approval.
Short links not allowed. Same with some hosters.

This is likely due to what you said. Just use Sandboxie or a virtual machine to run any software you download off of here. This site is better than most of it's kind.
