How many of you have lied about education? - Cannabic - 03-14-2024
Ive applied to atleast 20+ jobs and never have i had any company verify if my bachelors in IT from abroad was legitimate. I would encourage everyone
currently in the job market to spice up their resume! I just left my job that I absolutely hated and got in a more senior position with "5 years of professional experience" (in reality ive only worked 2 years total)

I think engineering/tech jobs don't check education as much because it's more about your work experience than education. Although there are stories of Politicians lying about education if they are not being checked I don't see why the majority of people can just lie as well.

I agree on the engineering/tech jobs. Whether you actually know anything or not will come out in the interview.

I would encourage everyoneYes 100% No one asked me about my degrees ever. I even did a masters and paid for it from my own pocket. If I was to go back in time, I would have learned much more on free online courses in Youtube
