Considering this is like the third time this has been a headliner in the news, it seems that somehow we found a topic that all 535 members of congress can agree on :O.
Whats your view on it? Will it finally get taken down? Should it get taken down?

Based on the phrasing I'm guessing this is for the US? Is actually being banned across the country or is this just another of those "no government workers are allowed to use it" type bans?

Surely this won't actually happen? Like you said, this has been a headline several times in the past few years, and has never actually gone anywhere. In a country like the US, I don't think you could effectively eliminate TikTok, or at least not for any meaningful length of time before people found a way to circumvent the ban. I don't think congress has as much control over something like the internet as might be implied, in a supposedly progressive and free country.

Biden said he will sign it, but it needs to pass the senate, which is going welllll....
nobody really knows actually. Supposedly they have to "work" on a budget bill.

My view is that there are definitely valid concerns about the app, particularly when it comes to data privacy and national security. TikTok is owned by a Chinese company, ByteDance, and there are worries about the Chinese government potentially having access to user data. 🔒
