Whonix or Qubes for serious privacy. They may not be the most convenient, but they are very private.

If you want something more convenient, any Linux distro is decent that isn't spyware. Arch, Debian, Manjaro all come to mind.

One that isn't mentioned often is ParrotOS. It has an AnonSurf feature that routes all traffic through Tor. Though, this is more of a pentesting OS.
