This came after several users on media forums reported burning incidents with their GPUs when using the CableMod adapters. Hence, the firm saw it best to initiate a recall to prevent further damage. In light of this, a report by the Consumer Product Safety Commission reveals that the firm has recalled a total of 25,300 adapters, which is indeed a huge number.
