Title says it, I got the phone through a trade in deal. Couldn’t figure out how to SE one but Verizon had a really good offer, as I was about to pull the trigger on a DNA through RedPocket.
Phone discussion:
This past couple of weeks has been nice with this new phone, it’s so much nicer than the 11 I previously had; the 15pm has relatively good battery life and gets really bright! The camera is pretty good in comparison too, not to mention how snappy it is.
I say in comparison because apple has been really disappointing nowadays, especially with their lack of innovation with each passing model. USB C was long overdue and as many of you know was only added because the EU practically forced them to do so; the USB-C isn’t even thunderbolt 4, like tf?? It’s just basic transfer speeds, and charging has marginally improved. Even since 2020, some of the the best androids had crazy fast charging speeds that put the 15PM to dust…
Androids have also had some really neat features like an under the screen fingerprint sensor and a multitude of other conveniences
(larger screen to body ratios, sideloading, 30hr ++ battery life, reverse charging, more customization etc.)The only reason I chose apple was simply because of the ecosystem convenience and simply because of the refinement and apple experience that is quite unparalleled with other devices.
In my opinion apple makes one of the best mobile devices, such as AirPod pro 2’s, iPads, and macbooks (battery to power performance ratio) As far as anything else, I’d rather have a windows desktop.

ofc at the end of the day its user preference, but over the years ive came to a point that, long story shory, if you just need a phone, iPhone will do it, if you like to mod the shit out of it and play with settings, differents apps and so on, then Android could be a better fit, but thats only about the OS

the only thing that intrigues me about an iphone is that it is proven to last 5 or more years speaking from an owner of an ip6 lol

And you can drastically improve the lifespan by flashing a custom ROM (for when the official support ceases) and replacing the battery. The latter can be done on IPhones, too, but I don't know how complicated that is.
