back at the day, yes you could. just by clicking at link with keylogger. but now every browser has alerts

Your antivirus/browser would probably catch/stop the malicious link.

Not uppon clicking the link but if your windows becomes ''grey'' and ask yes or no it means something wants to install. If you then click ''yes'' you will probably install the said virus...
