More immersive socializing. People these days are already too much online either on phones or computers. For example, younger folks are struggling with dating because it involves in person socialization. Imagine going on a coffee date while each person is at home drinking their home-made coffee. You're just sitting at your desk coffee in hand talking and seeing the other person in a virtual cafe. Another is planning an event with your buddies. You can all get drinks at a virtual bar while drinking from the comfort of your couch. Removes all the challenges of logistics for these events and you stay social, granted from home which a lot more people are getting more and more comfortable with.
