Looking for suggestions, there’s a bunch of “unlock services” but looking at reviews it just seems to be a bunch of bots.
Any guidance would be helpful on how to go about it apart from contacting the carrier.

what exactly ae you trying to do?
i found a tool called chimera app
it has a lot of features one of them is IMEI repair
it works, but not for every model

No need. Go to ChatGPT and ask to write code in JavaScript to unlock phones by imei.
- Remember you can only unlock old phones, newer phones normally contact the carrier to verify imei unlock.
- You can always buy dongles and unlock locally.
