Does Linux work on Mac as good as windows?

RE: linux vs Mac - GreatBuild - 11-09-2023

Linux can work on a Mac, but there are some important differences and considerations to keep in mind when comparing it to Windows..

Compatibility: Linux, like Windows, can be installed on a Mac computer. However, not all Mac hardware is compatible with Linux, so it's essential to check compatibility before installation. Some Mac-specific hardware components may not have full Linux driver support.

User Experience: macOS and Linux have different user interfaces and user experiences. If you're used to macOS, transitioning to Linux may require some adjustment, as Linux distributions often offer various desktop environments and customization options.

Software Availability: While Linux has a wide range of open-source software available, it may not have the same commercial software support as Windows or macOS. Some software that is commonly used on Windows or macOS may not have a Linux version, although alternatives often exist.

It depends. Both mac and linux use unix when windows uses anothing thing. the macos terminal is quite similar to the one in linux. for development, i suggest linux anyway
