How do you handle being threatened online? Do you cooperate with what they want or do you stand up for yourself?

It all depends on the threat, if it's just some mad 11 year old then i won't even respond.

Most people on the internet don't have the gut to actually fulfill their threats, also i'm quite sure that if your base security is in-tact then even if he will try any funny business you will be okay and doxing is rather pointless for me personally, if they really wanna know something about me they should just ask ;D
Also it's a good scare-away if you say you're part of international authorities that track down cyber criminals bla bla bla.

True, although there are some people out there that do take it too far, and eh, most people aren't phased by the "my dads a cop" or "I track cybercriminals" anymore.

Well, I suppose he/she that want to dox you must have a reason. If the reason is nothing illegal, threaten him back that you will report him to authorities if he posts information about you (Not sure, it depends on your local law).

I normally have a giggle, even if the person plans to follow through with said threat.
