Happy Thanksgiving and Happy Chanukah - Adorapuff - 11-28-2013

Happy holidays everyone!
Chanuchka will not be this early for another nine thousand years.
I am thankful I have such a loving community called Sinisterly to be a part of.
I hope you all get fat today, get heart attacks and die.
Happy Turkey day, and for those of you who celebrate it, Happy Chanukah!

The same to you, kind Sir!

I'm thankful for people who can spell and who are not disgracing the English language (too few, that is).

Do people outside of 'Murica even celebrate Thanksgiving?
It kinda feels like a pretty ironic holiday for me...

Don't think so.

What? Are you saying that eating birds and building body mass is strange?
It's very American, too Wink

I hope you guys have a happy Thanksgiving. I probably will. I'm here alone doing nothing. I'm thinking about going to KFC and getting something there.

The reason why it's ironical for me is somewhat different though, which the following quote explains a bit more in detail.

Jon Stewart: ''Next Thursday is obviously a time to gather with your family to commemorate the feast that the native americans prepared for a struggling pilgrim settlement that today we refer to as Thanksgiving. And the native americans refer to it as ''An enourmous mistake.''

I don't see it as celebrating the feast, but celebrating the birth of America. In retrospect, what we did to the Natives was wrong, however, they did the same to each other, and where not as peaceful as liberals make them out to be.

Ah, now I see what you're saying ^^

I think what you're saying is very true indeed, for those who celebrate the feast itself.

Delicious.

Hate Thanksgiving, worst holiday around.
It's a family-gathering holiday, which is terrible. At least on Christmas, there are gifts...

My family is just awful. And I always look like a dick, because I don't eat that so-very delicious looking bird. Flat out refuse. And since the gathering is extended family, consisting primarily of fat idiots, I'm naturally an object of ridicule.

HAHAHA BUT I'VE MOVED OUT OF STATE, SO THIS IS THE FIRST HALF-DECENT THANKSGIVING EVER.
Although to me it's just another day. Most holidays are, though...
