Chernobyl is a Wild Kingdom - Nyx - 11-15-2013

So most of you know about the fact that Chernobyl is a radioactive town that got evacuated back in the 80s. But did you know, that even though we, humans, were kicked out, us leaving, in turn invited animals in? Reading this article is quite interesting, seeing how after we left, animals there turned it into a whole new habitat. Worth a read, even if it is insanely long.

I noticed this whilst watching a couple of things on Animal Planet. In fact, one of them was about this.

Its because they don't use "statistics" and "radioactive meters". They've been in the wild for so long that its probably a "6th sense" for them to be able to tell whether its able to live in a place or not.
