Kinda interesting to follow, to be honest.
Some say the fires have been purposely set - others blame global warming.
I personally don't care about all the celebrities. They can easily replace their losses. I do care about the average man who basically lost everything. And the beautiful nature, too. Such a shame.

Sounds like there were tourists that decided to visit/stay, even after being advised not to.

Not sure whether there was anything particular OP had in mind with the question, but my overall response to it is sadness and dread. Sadness for the people that have been affected, rich or poor. And dread knowing there'll be more next year. I think I'm getting more and more desensitised to seeing wildfires in the news which is very bleak.
