Leaving society and living off the land? Like our ancestors hundreds of thousands of years ago? Every so often, I get an urge to just run away and live in the wild (kind of like the movie, Into The Wild).
Am I the only one?

You won't survive a week in the wild if you don't have any knowledge about survival.
It's better if you stay home.

I think that ideally yes, everyone would love to get away and live their life without boundaries and be free.
BUT, the truth is that it's not easy, in fact, it's almost impossible.

Look at the move "Into the wild" that is most likely the reason as to why they are saying this. You'd need a large amount of knowledge about the place you're going before you were to even think about living in the wild away from society.
