for some the things that make you happy require capital. for some more and others less. but money isn't actually buying anything unless you find your true self

Money can give you happiness, but i don't think that people who become rich can't be happy with it.
However, for me, money can buy happiness cause it can buy animals and deserve goal that whll take my time.
(unless most rich people who just love to stack)

One could argue it can buy happiness in the short term. You may get that house, car or resource you've always wanted. However, humans are pretty adaptive. We quite quickly get used to having those new things and the happiness from it dies. Money is a stepping stone to material/consumable goods. It's not what brings the long-term happiness. Long term happiness comes from the above that Oni mentioned. And mindset. Mindset is one of the biggest factors when it comes to happiness, as after all, happiness is something that's heavily impacted by your mind.

That being said, If one has their health (physically and mentally) along with an established/fulfilled lifestyle, money will most likely provide long-term happiness.
