TL;DR: Some people ended up with way more SP than they deserved, but we did have a lot of activity the past 2 days.

It was discovered yesterday that anyone who recently purchased stuff via Newpoints, received a 75% refund on it (if they hadn't sent me the item through their inventory). This is bad. Very bad. At this point, it's not fair to go and take away everything, but I will be contacting a couple of individuals in order to make sure the economy continues working well.
What was so bizzarre is, people received 1000+ SP and didn't bother asking me why they got it. This led to a lot of people getting upgrades (and receiving points back for them). It's likely I will be contacting some of the people who purchased awards and upgrades.
On the other hand, I also have some good news to share. In the past 24 hours, we've received over 1,300 posts. That is, as you all know, probably the record for Sinisterly. We've also passed the milestones of 100,000 posts and 150,000 posts, so congratulations guys!

I'm unsure as to whether I received excessive amounts of credits, but the activity on Sinister is great. Good job to everyone involved.

I love how nobody is commenting on the issue with points. I have just set a few people's balances down to 1000. Namely the people who made a large amount of SP. I won't be taking away anyone's Elite/Super Elite, but I will be taking away the majority of the points they are holding.

I'm actually considering resetting the economy in order to make up for this. Of course, I'd give everybody a few days notice so they could spend their SP.
