A rubber band has a "spring constant" of 45 N/m. When the rubber band is pulled by a force of 9.8N, how far will it stretch and what is it's potential energy?

k= 45 N/m
F= 9.8 N
Required:
PE= ?
x= ?
Solution:
(Need help on how to find x. Where in x is the elongation or compression of the spring and k is its force constant.)
Any math wiz there? I'd appreciate the help. It will be to late to help after 2 hours though as I need to sleep.

Well yeah, I'm in 4th year of high school. Also I already got the answer. You don't happen to have a Scientific Calc there do you?
