Trying to automate several sites for an income stream. Looking for advice. - greyok - 05-12-2023

So I'm currently running a linux VM with 2 browser profiles using the Brave Browser for BAT tokens. I looked and they removed the restriction, so you can have unlimited accounts linked to the same wallet for cashouts.

I decompiled a Chrome browser plugin that does auto searches and replaced it with several that I know pay for each search. I'm currently just using 1 for my bot accounts but use 3 for my regular account. I also have them on pay-to-watch tube sites and leave them running all day. The tube sites let you cash out to crypto faucets. The points are then used to run the faucet to get crypto in several different currencies.

Between the 3 methods, I'm making maybe 75 cents a day. That's per profile.

I was originally making separate VMs but found out with browser profiles I can run Chrome extensions for VPNs and connect to multiple VPNs at the same time. I just have one VM right now that's running 2 profiles. It's using 2.75 GB of ram out of 3 GB alloted on a 10 GB virtual drive.

I would like to cut down the resource usage in order to scale this. I want to use a VM and not my main OS in case there's a memory leak and it crashes. At least it's just the VM crashing in this instance. I would like to run 10-20 of these at once to make it actually worth doing, so I'm trying to find a method to clone.

I am looking into automating Android as well and using android VMs or an emulator to do it. I have an autoclicker app on my phone with a few configurations to handle swiping on one app to get more points. It's for my main account, and I make probably 50 cents a day with it. With all of my mains I make over $1 a day easy, but it's hard to convert to automation.

I am asking here in case anyone has any advice for this. The browser extension I altered currently has 4 browsers it can autosearch for. It has a timer function where you can set when it starts and if it runs indefinitely or for so many times. It has a variance in time so it's not 1 right after another. It can also make its own wordlists to use for the searches.

2 of the sites for searches work fine for daily tasks. I have a third that will probably work ok but requires scratching off the earnings, so it will take more time each day to use. The 4th requires you to click when you earn points, so I'd have to use something like Selenium to detect when the button appears in order to click it.

I have also found a few other extensions to make money. One alerts you when there's a search it wants you to perform then when you click it, it searches and highlights what to click in red. You then scroll through the search engine listings until you see it. It pays 10 to 25 ents per click, but requires a lot of user input. I would like to automate this with Selenium or Browser Automation Studio eventually.

This was pretty lucrative when Brave started early on, but less so now. Bluestacks or another Android emulator might scale better, depending what you're doing.

Yeah I was looking at droid4x and another one that had lower system requirements in order to run some autoclickers on. Someone recommended me Zennodroid on another site. I would love to find something that would let me click then insert a word from a wordlist for a search. I may have to use Selenium or something to build my own. I currently use Autoclicker with one of the search engine's mobile app because it gives more points for mobile searches. I have 2 configs. It clicks search then scrolls down to trending topics, clicks one, scrolls, clicks the back button, and clicks search again repeatedly. It's buggy but works.

That's just for apps, though. These are websites and can work with any browser. I'm using a VM for various reasons. I don't want to have to modify my current settings just to run a bunch of profiles just for botting. Sure, it's just a bunch of profiles, but I need them to stay running. I can just make a snapshot of the VM. I will just do it all in a VM, and if there's a memory leak or something then I can just reload my save state and keep going. Much easier.

I will probably just allot a ton of RAM to this one VM and do something like 10 browser profiles at once with different accounts and IPs. I could easily do 20 GB and have room to do my normal stuff with that all running in the background. It's using 2.75 GB right now running the OS with both Brave instances up streaming video, so it's probably less than 1 GB per profile running in reality.

What I'm asking is if anyone knows of any other sites I can use or apps that would make me money. I use Pawns and Honeygain on my other laptop but you can't use them with VPNs because they require residential IP addresses. Buying residential proxies will be more expensive than the profit you'd earn from running them, so that idea is out (besides on one account).

Brave is doing ok today. I've made 15 cents between 3 different browsers (1 other laptop, 2 VM) within 2 hours or so. That would be 60 cents+ per day just doing that, as well as ~15 cents from one search site I use and another 15 cents from streaming videos per instance, so another 90 cents. That's $1.50 so far. 50 cents for each instance is fine with me. I will just add another 7 instances and let it run, just checking it once a month to cash out my $150.
