NSA doubles workforce - frendly - 03-26-2023

Seems that the NSA is trying to soak up a lot of the newly laid off tech workers. Not entirely sure whats causing the hiring spree, but I've heard about it in other places. Wondering if the US government wants to use it for trying to mess with Russia/China without actually putting boots on the ground. Maybe we will see US Govt. sponsored ransomware soon™.

Quote:“As NSA shifts to an era of strategic competition, it is critical that we’re able to build and sustain the diverse and expert workforce we need to continue working our missions,” said NSA Executive Director Catherine Aucella.

Strategic competition is certainly an odd way of putting it.
