Believe me, there will be a clone replacement for TikTok --Platform owner's ByteDance and their People's Republic of China (PRC) masters are at issue.

The genuine reason TikTok might get proscribed is to prohibit foreign tech companies from taking all the advertisement money from domestic tech companies. This was always about profits, not data privacy. TikTok is victualing Instagram, YouTube, and Facebook's lunch because it is a better product and advertisers want the reach it has garnered.

i think even if they ban it there it won't stay banned for long either it will be bypassed with vpn or otherwise. Instagram etc are also full of Tiktok videos
