TechSperts the new Usergroup - Eternity - 07-20-2013
I gave this a lot of thought until i came to an understanding, none of the suggestions below has any second thought given into it so i might have failed to understand what you as a member on this forum wanted.
The suggestions was either unpractical for the Short-term, long-term or just unpractical in general.
So i thought about a user-group on VHF that was called TechSperts that one of my friends created.
And i figured it was needed.
Some of the areas TechSperts members will focus on:
- Computer Troubleshooting
- Computer Services
- Computer Overclocking
- Crypto Currency Mining and General discussion
- Computer Components guidance and discussion
More information will be available when i got everything ready.
Some of the suggestions made and why i didn't chose them.
Reporters - A group dedicated to keeping the forum spam free.
We don't have a big enough user-base to even think about starting a reporter group.
Also it's mainly the staff's job.
Monetizing - A group dedicated to earn money/Share their knowledge.
As much as i want this to happen i cannot.
Monetizing isn't popular on this forum mainly due to we focus on Programming.
Advertisers - A group dedicated to get more Members on the forum.
This is actually a good idea.
But in the long term members will lose interest due to higher member base.
Informers - A group dedicated to spreading knowledge through tutorials and hand-on assistance.
A group dedicated to creating tutorials isn't necessary because we already have the needed resources at our disposal.
Graphicsaurs/GFX Artists - A group dedicated to showoff and create GFX tutorials.
A GFX group isn't such a good idea since
- It serves no purpose except creating tutorials but then again we have professional PhotoShop-ers on YouTube.
- We have a GFX forum.
