Destiny - Gingie - 07-16-2013

What are your guys's thoughts about it?? It looks ok to me. The terrain, nature, and the massive boost in technology intrigues, but idk..It's Bungie xD

I think that if Halo is indicative of Bungie's talent and worth, then Destiny is going to be terrible.

RE: Destiny - Platinum - 07-16-2013

I think it's fun, but no more than that.

RE: Destiny - Hexology - 07-16-2013

Looks like halo brought to a modern day-wasteland style theme. I like it though, the sound effects are amazing too. Look at this demo of it (It's on the ps4 too.)

Are you trying to say there's something wrong with Bungie?

What's wrong with Halo? It's one of the most successful game franchises known to the gaming world...

RE: Destiny - Hexology - 07-16-2013

^Yes, Halo was awesome. I feel like society makes a large impact on what individuals think about something, if someone famous or popular says something is 'bad', people who respect that person are going to agree. This impacts many games in my opinion.

RE: Destiny - Anizeb - 07-16-2013

Yes, because the people that love Halo are almost always the same people that love Fahrenheit.

Successful does not mean it's a good game, it means it has a good marketing budget.

It's successful because it's a good game that people buy, not because it's a bad game that just has a good market; budget has nothing to do with its sales.

It has everything to do with budget.

And yes, people are buying it because it's bad, in a way.
They buy it because its familiar.
And familiar is bad, as far as quality is concerned.

This is pretty much Business 101, I'm not just spouting out my own opinion. Put out what works. Boring and the same old just happens to work.
