My Introduction: Who I am and what I do. - Thr - 08-22-2013

Well, I have a feeling I'll be typing this up for around an hour or so, here it goes.

My "handle", if you will, is Thr. This is a current thing and it was changed recently from ThrDude. If you're from HackForums, you'd probably notice me over there, I'm one of the better known developers and I work with C/C++ as well as some .NET work and web development such as PHP and Javascript.

Now; onto my story.

I started out learning some development with C++ at the age of 12. I had a cheap laptop that ran Windows 98 on it and that did the job for me. I started out with reading some book from the library that included the title "C++" right on the front. I started to read and within a month I ended up making simple programs that automated things having to do with the operating system, such as copying files at a certain time or backing up files from one drive to another. I really wanted to make something useful though, something that nobody had that could get popular.

After a year of C++, around the age of 13, I started experimenting with Visual Basic 6.0. It was pretty interesting and definitely easy to code with compared to C++. I made several programs with the Visual Basic 6.0 IDE, but none of these works were really that useful.

Around the age of 15 I started working with the .NET platform (Visual Studio 2003 at the time). I ran into C# and started to use that as a major development language. I had created a text editor that encrypted files on the fly. It was quite amazing to be honest, I had felt like I finally completed and accomplished something for once.

Currently, I work with a few web-development companies that have hired me as a freelancer. They pay quite decently and it's nice. I have gotten a lot of experience with PHP and Javascript since then Tongue

Back in December, my friend LiteSpeed and I started a Skype resolver that would become the only working Skype resolver on the market today. The resolver is called "SpeedResolve" and can be found at http://speedresolve.com. We have done a lot of work with this resolver to make it stable and it has been a long journey thus far. LiteSpeed and I have dedicated several hours into this project, although I did like working on it.

I have been getting into Android and iOS development lately, and I am really interested in any ideas people have for me. If you have any ideas for an app, let me know Wink!

Several of my other projects include:
  • "Prawxy", An optimized frontend to NginX/Apache/IIS. Serves webpages at an extremely fast rate and handles Layer 7 attacks with ease, giving a decently powered server the ability to protect itself from Layer 7 attacks at as much as 5 million requests per second.
  • "ClearView Instant Messenger", a fully fledged instant messenger for Windows, Mac, Linux, and mobile phones (the domain has since expired, but I am throwing together a new version of it on a new domain).
  • "DarkCrypt0r", A crypter in .NET that generates unique stubs (96% unique) and still maintains a 2/37 detection rate to this day (after almost 11 months of no updates).
  • "L2IRC", An IRC bot made completely from scratch in C and C#.
  • "SpeedResolve", The Skype resolver I mentioned above.
  • Several DDoS attack scripts, including "starwarsbaus.pl" (A Star Wars server amplification method, "css1.6.c" (A custom Counter Strike 1.6 amplification method), and "wash.c" (The common xmlrpc exploit, but coded in C for ultimate speed).

I am currently working on a new project that will be a cross-compiled Linux IRC bot written mainly in C and somewhat in ASM. I will be giving project updates in the Programming & Coding section if anyone is interested. I will post a thread about that soon Tongue

Anyways, as I get to the end of my thread, I want to give a few shoutouts to the following people:

LiteSpeed - My development partner and my best friend. Together, we run SpeedResolve. He's definitely amazing with code, especially C Wink (I have totally outsourced him a few times though in some situations Wink )
AZ - Can't ever forget this guy, he got me a laptop that has been needed forever! I've also worked with him for the longest time with lots of websites. He's a fucking boss with PHP and I enjoy talking to him quite a bit Smile
0x4b33 - Another great friend of mine who gets me so many servers and subscriptions to various services. <3
Rayyan - He bought me Xamarin Studio w/iOS and Android Biggrin
Jesse Stamper - A great Javascript and PHP developer I've worked with in the past.

Thank you everyone above for your support and thanks to everyone who I forgot to mention as well!

~Thr

All the groups do the same shit.

But when they invite there friends on the forum, they have at least over 100 posts and have given to the community.

It isn't anything personal to you, just how the groups are run.

So, why again are you complaining to me about this and not Blue? I'm utterly confused. Also, thanks for the rep. Gotta love red apples. Hope you enjoy yours too from Blue.

This is a website. So I could careless what rep he gives me.

Exactly. That means you should quit your bitching about who runs what group and take a chill-pill. Cheers.
Biggrin

Amazing introduction thread, Thr! One of the best threads in this section since Wonders' Discussion Zone information thread.

It's good to have you here. Any type of website or software developer (even if they have 0 posts) are welcome to our group, Deviation as Deviation is a webmastery and coding group.

As long as you can code, you're pretty much set for our group.

@Revenue: Stop being so fucking dramatic and leave the guy alone. I invited him because he's a developer. You're jealous because you're in 0 groups.

When you've grown up a little, PM me and I'll remove the -15.

Looks like yours doesn't work. I tried my name and three others with the "Allow direct connections only" box checked.

Thanks Blue! Smile I'm glad to be here. About time I joined a different forum besides HackForums Wink

To anyone else here, if you have any questions about code, programming, or anything, my private messages are always checked once an hour.
