Need Advice - Gaming Equipment - Mohammed - 08-22-2013

No idea where to put this, so I decided to put this in the lounge section. Apologies if the thread was posted in the wrong section.

Anyway, I'm searching for new gaming gear. I've decided to keep my mouse mat (Razer Goliathus Speed Edition) and my mouse (Razer Deathadder 2013). But I'm now searching for a new gaming keyboard and a brand new headset with a good mic. So, I would really appreciate if people would post down suggestions on what I should get. A lot of people have advice'd me to purchase a mechanical keyboard, as it would be best for me. Not too familiar with mechanical keyboards, like its switches and colours. Also, I'm looking for a headset that has a really good microphone and obviously has good audio.

I have a set budget of £300, but I could obviously raise the budget. But I would really like to stick with that budget.

Problem is I've heard a lot of people complain about its microphone. Which puts me off, purchasing it. I currently have my eyes on the SteelSeries Siberia V2 Blue Frost headset.

Hmmmm, I normally use an external mic. That is what most people do.

I don't really like external microphones, they might get in my way while I play or if I rage I might hit it and brake it.
I was looking at the Plantronics Commander headset. The microphone is very good on that, I've seen it tested on Youtube.

Astros have terrible mics. Turtle Beach by far has the best mic quality for a headset.

Tritton in general is terrible, but I enjoy using their headphones for my phone.

I remember when I was SEing Plantronics. I'm pretty sure I'm blacklisted, at least my address.

But the price for that headset specifically is to much.
