All you need to do is either go to your user cp or just click on new posts and click the green arrow to view the latest reply to your thread.

Do what Mescaline said. Having alerts would become a problem when you have a popular thread.

Yeah man, I'm being serious, the site would have a lot to do, since we're getting active you'll clog up the SQL db with notifications and new PMs and sending new emails to notify you. Good suggestion but un-required at the moment.
