Left-hand, Right hand, My foundation theory. [Religion] - Evangelist - 08-02-2013 I was staring at the pictures of the crucifixion of Jesus Christ. According to Christian mythology he was crucified between two criminals. One repented and the other one stayed true to himself. ![]() According to the bible the one that didn't repent was the one on the left side of Jesus from a spectator view's. Making two Choices. The left-hand and the Right-hand. One leads to salvation and the other leads to damnation. The left-hand path most popular religions
Right-Hand path religions
Left-Hand path religions are often called Satanic religions and they are. (From a Satanic Perspective) Satan is the "God" of the strong and individuals God is the deity of the loving and dependent The right-hand burglar the weakest burglar was the one who cried out for god when he knew he was going to die in a cross. A cowardly move. You made the choices in your life and you should die standing up for them. He didn't. The left hand burglar was the one who stayed true to himself and he died standing tall and accepting his choices and had the courage to question Jesus even in the face of death. He got condemned to hell because he did not humiliate himself. This is my theory of the origin of the terms "Left-hand" and "Right-hand" path terms. This is why all Satanic religions promote individualism and pride, some indulge on the 7 sins and yes, most if not all of them have true animosity towards God-driven religions. Quoting the Satanic Bible: Quote:Behold the crucifix; what does it symbolize? Pallid incompetence hanging on a tree. RE: Left-hand, Right hand, My foundation theory. [Religion] - Feat - 08-02-2013 This is so fucking true, I think the fact thay im independent and thats a reason why I dont practice religion. RE: Left-hand, Right hand, My foundation theory. [Religion] - Nil - 08-02-2013 Just because he stayed true to himself, doesn't mean he deserves anything other than Hell. It's not that he didn't humiliate himself. It's that he is still a burglar, regardless if he stood up for himself, and he feels no remorse for his sins. If you murder someone, and have no intention to change or seek forgiveness, you're still just an evil murderer. The decision doesn't become "holy" now because you've accepted who you are. Sorry if I'm misunderstanding you. RE: Left-hand, Right hand, My foundation theory. Not because he was a burglar but, because he didn't repent. That is called an honor code, you did something unpleasant to society and you shall be punished for it. It is the nature of laws. He accepted he did something wrong and he also accepted his punishment which was death on a cross. As for the other guy he screamed and cried for help. Regardless of there being an afterlife or not that was a very cowardly move. Quote:If you murder someone, and have no intention to change or seek forgiveness, you're still just an evil murderer. The decision doesn't become "holy" now because you've accepted who you are First of all. What is evil? Evil is just a terrible label used to justify human behaviors. So what if the person murders somebody in self-defense? Would you still consider he has to beg for forgiveness and he is "evil"? RE: Left-hand, Right hand, My foundation theory. [Religion] - Feat - 08-02-2013 So whats being implied is that it seems like cowardice gets you to heaven and accepting you actions get you sent to hell? Seems like we have this shit flipped. Well I guess technically he did go to hell because he was burglar, otherwise he'd have no reason to repent. Him not want wanting to repent shows he hasn't changed and is just a burglar, thus resulting in a Hell sentence. I believe you are thinking that repenting means you aren't accepting your actions and the consequences.? You can repent your sins, but still be aware that what you did was wholly wrong. He may have not accepted his death penalty, because he truly felt he could change and deserved a second chance, so it's not necessarily cowardly. And before his death, his screaming for help and crying is not nonsensical. Anyone can cry and scream and pretend they changed, but God being the omniscient being he is, will truly know whether his cries are sincere or not. Him going to heaven I believe you said?, would clarify that he has actually changed and didn't deserve hell. Again, let me apologize if I'm being confusing. I feel like I'm just throwing all my thoughts together and trying to keep track of it all. Edit: Oh, and about the evil part. I mostly just used evil to clarify that the murder was in cold-blood, not self defense. Self defense is justifiable in my opinion. RE: Left-hand, Right hand, My foundation theory. I believe you are thinking that repenting means you aren't accepting your actions and the consequences.? Absolutely not. I am not confusing the action of repenting. You can repent and accept your crimes or short comings but, again. As the bible implies. the left hand burglar did not go to heaven because of his crimes. He didn't go because he did not repent. If he were to go to hell for being a burglar then so would the other. Since the other one cried he went to heaven. The bible emphasizes on the last action, and not the crime. Looking at the situation with a godless perspective he did not get a chance because he ended up dying. The point of a second chance is invalid. Also the whole repent part is a getaway free card. I have a lot of problems with forgiveness and repent. People never learn. NEVER. The burglar according to the bible might have truly repented but, did he learn from his crimes? No. He robbed and went to heaven because he cried. That is not fair to me. RE: Left-hand, Right hand, My foundation theory. Sorry, I wasn't looking at it from a godless perspective. Because when you say they had the choice to repent, I see it from a biblical standpoint and that it's directly talking to God. So I associated them with already being aware of an afterlife, and the dude "crying" wasn't trying to not be killed, but rather not go to Hell. How are you sure people never learn? Can we not agree people make mistakes, especially in desperate times? And we can't be certain he didn't learn from his crimes. Actually, I might argue the opposite and say he did, otherwise the omniscient God might not have forgave him. Just his existence in heaven could be proof that he has learned from his crime(s) |
