GPU prices, however, will be going down drastically in the near future. Nvidia has worked to increase production in order to match demand, but this could be a result of crypto's value sinking. The statements were made by NVIDIA's chief financial officer (CFO) Ms. Colette Kress during NVIDIA's investor call for its earnings release for its first quarter of the fiscal year 2023, during which the company managed to strongly grow its revenues and increase its earnings from the crucial data center segment as well. As part of the commentary released prior to the call, the executive also explained that her company's inventory costs had grown in the quarter as it navigated a tricky supply chain and semiconductor environment in the wake of pandemic-induced disruptions. I recently acquired a few laptops with the Core I9 11900 and the RTX 3060 and a week later, decided to get the same model, but with the RTX 3070. The difference In price was an additional 300$ - purely for the GPU. |
