On a more serious note: There's some very predatory companies out there encouraging people to self-medicate and start HRT themselves. For anyone seriously considering it: This. Is. Dangerous.

While doctor waits are awful, and I totally understand why people do it... few people do any research before they start hrt themselves. That, is a very very bad thing. It's dangerous and can lead to hurting both your physical health and your mental health. I've seen people close to me go through this and cannot stress this enough. It is not safe. You MUST get more info before putting hormones in your body. Same goes for birth control and menopause treatments.
Hormones can massively impact your health and quality of life, in both good and bad ways. You need to make sure it's the good way!
