GameStop no longer taking PS4 pre-orders - Feat - 07-10-2013
A spokesperson for GameStop has said that retailer has stopped taking pre-orders for the PS4.
A GameStop spokesperson has told GameInformer that "due to high demand for the system, GameStop is not currently taking additional store reservations for the PlayStation 4."
The GameStop website has listed the console as "sold out," but interested customers can submit their email address to receive new information.
Last month, a memo from Sony was leaked telling GameStop to accept an unlimited number of PS4 pre-orders, and to ignore previously defined PS4 allotment limitations. This came after Sony already warned that PS4 demand "may well outstrip supply."

The main reason would most likely be the supply cant meet the demands.

Lol, looks like PS4 might be outselling Xbox One for once. Playstation might just come back as the Top-Dog, once again since like 8 years ago.
