I just began playing through the Halo series for the first time a few weeks ago. I had just started playing video games when Halo 4 released, so Halo never had any time to grow on me.

But as for any TV adaptation, always expect the worst, because it's likely that you'll be getting the worst.

I am very tempted to get into the Halo series. However, I feel like I want to try the earlier games and build up, so I have a closer point of reference to asses the newer games, like some of the more hardcore fans. Plus, some of the older games look fun.

Halo 2 was the shit. I loved Reach as well, and Halo IV.

Visually it looks great, in my opinion, but I am just genuinely worried about this being a non-canon, loose-ish(?) adaptation. I just do not ken how to feel.

I've been playing Infinite more than any other game, the competitive feels like the core halo i used to know. Plus the repulsors are super fun to play around with.

I can't wait to watch this.
