I have the11800H on one laptop, and couldn't be happier with Its performance.

I choose a Ryzen 5 5600X. Really good processor for gaming.

Intel but purely because it's what I'm accustomed to, and trust it. I don't think I'd mind trying AMD with their latest products.

I've always put my trust in AMD. Their FX series was a bit of a letdown, but they came blazing back with Ryzen.
AMD also brings less bloat to the Linux kernel, which I like.
