Showing User's Display Group on Postbit - Dean Winchester - 06-19-2013

This will show you how to display a user's primary group in a theme's postbit.

Steps:

Login to your Forum's ACP.
Go to Themes & Templates Tab
Click on Templates
Select the theme whose template you want to modify.
Expand the postbit templates
Open postbit_author_user
Replace the contents with:

{$lang->postbit_posts} {$post['postnum']} {$lang->postbit_joined} {$post['userregdate']} Group: {$lang->primary_usergroup}{$usergroup['title']} {$post['replink']}{$post['warninglevel']}
or just add this to your existing one:

Code:
Group: {$lang->primary_usergroup}{$usergroup['title']}
Save it and you're done

Nice Jimmy, simple yet effective. It does a nice job too, actually. Keep up with these threads, it's nice to get users to stick in certain sections and keep them alive and well.
