White House Market Announces Its Closing - laininthewired - 10-01-2021 The following is taken from /u/mr_whites PGP signed message on Dread. Others In similar circumstances, tend to disappear Into the ether. Given they could have taken the funds as a "retirement bonus", it's admirable they're letting people finish things up. RE: White House Market Announces Its Closing - Boudica - 10-02-2021 It's also impressive that they are refunding adverts and whatnot. This seems very well planned and organised. I'm not familiar with the market myself, but this is a credit to their reputation should they open with a new project down the line. Not only does he have an insane amount of money (5% flat fee on every purchase made on the market) but the markets are changing rapidly as we speak. Alphabay came under a new name, Televend has been compromised by Swiss police, multiple distributors being busted, I think the WHM team all took this as a sign that they should retire. It will be interesting seeing WHM users (with how sheltered they were with their clean GUI and heavily regulated market) flock to more lawless markets like Dark0de. Cryptocurrency prices will also be interesting to watch for the next coming 2 weeks.
