Titan Comics Cowboy Bebop Comic Cover - Jiggly - 09-26-2021

The new cover for Issue #1 has been released for Titan Comics new Cowboy Bebop comic. The comic book series has been written by Dan Watters who wrote Lucifer (guilty pleasure of mine) and Home Sick Pilots. The artwork is by artist Lamar Mathurin. The comic is based on the Netflix live action series. Apparently, there will also be a prequel novel released, called 'Cowboy Bebop: A Syndicate Story: Red Planet Requiem'. This one is written by series staff writer Sean Cummings.

The Cowboy Bebop comic book series will have four issues and will debut on December 8. The collected edition will will ship as a trade paperback in May 2022. The series will feature a "never-before-seen" story set in the Cowboy Bebop universe. Set in the year 2171, the bounty hunter crew of the spaceship Bebop chase an ex-gang member who holds a vest which gives the wearer unlimited luck.

I earnestly want to give this a chance, but the more they reveal the more I feel like they are completely butchering this.
