Pet Abduction to Be Made New Criminal Offence in England - Accident Man - 09-03-2021
With the price of pet animals increasing largely during the COVID-19 lockdowns in England, pet theft has increased. A friend of mine almost had her french bulldog stolen by multiple men in a white van a few months ago.

I thought It was already a crime.
This should've been Introduced a couple of decades ago.

So stealing a person's pet was not treated as a crime before this? Wild. I hope this law begins to deter these types of crimes. Very sad.
