Search engines probably wouldn't be doing so well if everything were so strict, as they often index illegal content. After all, a link is just that. I'm sure this is also dependent on where you live, but from my understanding much more involvement is needed to consider you accomplice to whatever's being done there.

With this same logic reporters and journalists would constantly being jailed and arrested for sharing these things. You should be good if you are ONLY sharing a link and not more involved then being let on.

I wonder if there's a focus on whether you just having the link available on you platform, and actively promoting it. Reposting and sharing multiple times, or advertising that your platform has resources relating to it.

I'm pretty sure linking to a website wouldn't be illegal. The site you are thinking of that got taken down, was accepting money to advertise or feature certain markets... But simply linking and no money involved? Probably safe.

If It's a link that's solely used as a point of reference and you're not actively Involved In Its operations, you'll be fine.

a link, and a redirect website, are a bit different things, imo...
everyone's saying a *LINK* is fine... but if your domain serves only to redirect to another page, then that might be more serious than just having a link, imho...
