Feedback on a site I'm designing for a client - Harvey - 07-10-2013
Hi guys,
So I'd like your feedback on a site I'm doing up for a plumbing company. Here's the current site.

aqualogical.com.au./newWhat do you think needs changing? So far I've got the following.
- Slider image for 'Reliable' needs to be improved (can't find the perfect image)
- Free Initial Project Consultation blog post image could probably be changed so that the bottom section of the site doesn't look so empty. Maybe add another blog post to fill up the white space below it.
- Information Request page contact form needs work.
- Main logo I'm not sure about. The green, although company colours, doesn't really work with the theme.

If this was for me, I would only change the information on the front page.
Way too much text and that drove me away pretty fast. I did not want to read all of those bullet points.
Overall for a client I would say this is neat. Good job bud.
On the newer site, I would just have to say add more color to it. It looks very nice!

Thanks man. Yeah it's a bit bland as far as the colour scheme goes. Not sure what the best way to brighten it up will be but I think the overall feel is somewhat professional which was the desired outcome. Just need to find those spots to splash a bit of paint around.

Yeah I don't know if they wanted you to follow a certain color scheme, but I think adding some baby blues, light greens, and greys would greatly improve the feel of the site.

Good idea. I'd like to try incorporate some green somewhere so the logo doesn't look as out of place. Or maybe I need to lighten up the logo font to the green you mentioned? I plan on showing them this tonight so we'll see what they say I guess!

v2 looks so much better. But only thing that's bothering me is the logo though. It sticks out like a sore thumb :L

Yeah, it's horrible. I think it's just the colour is not working at all.

I think V2 looks splendid personally, modern, simple, and attractive. I'd love to see the finished site.

I think v2 looks a lot more professional and simple. I like it. The only complaint I have is that it was slower to load.
