Hollister...No. - Jay - 07-09-2013

Well after being hired at Hollister which I'm sure I posted a thread about quite a while ago, I also got hired at Rue21. Rue21 of which is treating me like a king with a abundance of hours and really dope co-workers, Hollister on the other hand hired me as a Model, and has literally asked me to work ONE regular shift (scheduled) in the past FOUR weeks.

Today of which I failed to notice that I was scheduled for a CALL IN (not scheduled) shift and I received a call from my now ex-manager Spencer that I'm being let go as a Model at Hollister for failing to come in for work.

I'm a little irritated at their employment policy, standards, etc, alongside everything else to possibly be kind of "FUUUUUU" about in regards to Hollister. I say good day and fuck your company.

Going in to pick up my time wasted check hoe! MY TIME MY MONEY! (Wasting it on dope hash.)

If you ever choose to apply at a Hollister store especially in the UK be prepared to buy Hollister clothing, work no hours, regardless of how good looking you are, and be let go. It's fantastic!

On a side note, I'm now working Full Time at Rue21 in which I work 40+ hours a week as of today according to my uber dope manager.

Good to hear things are working out at Rue21. What exactly are you doing there?

Retail / Clothing sales essentially alongside being the face of the store, with a few co-workers. Just representing the brand and making sales. :thumb-up:

Can't win 'em all. Stuff like that pretty much tells you the companies you should work for. No reason contributing to a business you hate.

I love Hollister. Sad they let you go, but at least you got a job, unlike me.

I still enjoy the brand, still enjoy wearing the clothing, but don't exactly vibe with the blonde cutie who is in simple terms a c*nt.
