Anybody watching the Euros? - Jiggly - 06-15-2021 ![]() Anyone in Europe, or likely other regions, will know that the Euros (The UEFA European Football Championship) has kicked off. Thanks to the pandemic, there was a massive pause on a lot of sport, so technically this is the 2020 Euros. This has also meant there's some serious hype this year. Is anyone watching? If so, who are you routing for? ![]() RE: Anybody watching the Euros? - Accident Man - 06-16-2021 I personally am not a huge fan of football/soccer as I once was, but I still watch popular competitions - UEFA Champions League, UEFA European Football Championship, and the FIFA World Cup. I am English, thus I shall be rooting for England. FOOTBALL'S COMING HOME! Saying that, I still haven't had a haircut since February 2020 as well. I'm lagging behind a bit xD RE: Anybody watching the Euros? - t3h4x - 06-21-2021 oh yes the hype is 4 real my neighbor just left liverpool RE: Anybody watching the Euros? - Accident Man - 06-24-2021 Round of 16 is going to be exhilarating. RE: Anybody watching the Euros? - Jiggly - 06-24-2021 Legit heard someone screaming/shouting in my neighborhood at a game. At first we thought someone was being killed, until we realised it must be football when they started clapping. We've now figured out their nationality as a result xD RE: Anybody watching the Euros? - Alex1759 - 06-26-2021 The Euros is always a great tournament. Usually more competitive than the World Cup even, in particular when it was 16 teams and c 10 had a chance of winning it. RE: Anybody watching the Euros? - Accident Man - 06-26-2021 My predictions for Round of 16: Wales (W) versus Denmark (L) Italy (W) versus Austria (L) Netherlands (W) versus Czech Republic (L) Belgium (W) versus Portugal (L) Spain (W) versus Croatia (L) France (W) versus Switzerland (L) England (W) versus Germany (L) Sweden (W) versus Ukraine (L) |
