Satanism. - Evangelist - 07-08-2013 Introduction: Here you will learn about Satanism from me. Here you will see a couple of subjects that I will give my opinions on. The Nine Satanic Statements
The Eleven Satanic Rules of the Earth
The Nine Satanic Sins
Satanic Symbolism
As many people have seen before we hold the Infamous pentagram, the are different pentagrams but, the one listed here is the official LaVeyan Satanism pentagram. ![]() You will notice that there is a lot of album covers or artists that use this pentagram for their music such as Slayer. Let me clarify that though I love Slayer, the band does not represent what Satanism is. They merely used our symbology to appear as rebellious as possible. They are blasphemers, just, blasphemers. A prime example on why they do not represent Satanism is: They have a song called "God Hates Us All" we Satanists do not believe in an anthropological entity or deity. The statement "God Hates Us All" falls truly invalid to our philosophy and beliefs which will be mentioned in a few sentences. ![]() The reversed cross is a symbol interpreted to be some type of symbol that people have embraced Satan over. (In Literature of course.) Actually, that is wrong. With Christianity it is seen as the cross symbolic to "St. Peter" since legend states that he was crucified upside down. This request was also down on his own consent, and in no way a form of embracing Satan. This symbol can also serve as a symbol to the pope of the Roman Church. — If a Satanist finds meaning of expressing himself with this symbol, he/she can use it as his or her own free will. The symbol of preference that Satanist use is the Sigil of Baphomet: ![]() The symbol is used as the official membership of The Church of Satan. If you wish to know more meaning, I'd suggest looking here. The Satanic Philosophy
The philosophy of Satanism is not a very easy thing to explain or follow. We do not believe in good or evil. We only see human actions. In the animal world, we do not consider animals as evil or good do we? Being that we are animals, we cannot classify something as good or evil (of course some actions can cause regret, but regret is something we do not feel in Satanism). We calculate every move and action so it will not cause us grief or pain. Such as an intelligent person plans and executes, a Satanist does the same. We are very selective over people who we care about and love. In my situation, that is VERY few people. We do not go out and help other people to feel good about ourselves or because a religion tells us to or forces us to. We have no feelings for others outside of our circle of trust and love. Would I go out and help people for the fun of it? Not really. You see, we as Satanists believe in the morality of "Do unto others as they do unto you." Of course, that can be applied to good actions as well. If you are kind to me, I will be kind to you. However, if you wrong me, you can expect that same wrong back. That applies to helping people. We do not ask for help; why should we help others? That's why we have people like Christians and Humanists. They help others. Would you like to see a Satanist in Africa giving food to the needy? No you do not; that is a job for Christians, and they do a great job at it. Animosity towards Right-Hand Path religions
There is a very popular misconception that Satanists are Satanists only to criticize and judge God-driven religions. People assume we hate Christians, Jews and Muslims. We do not have any quarry against them, as our religion preaches and supports individualism, we really have no desire on hating another religion. We only focus on ourselves. Do we agree with Christianity Judaism and Islam? No we do not. Our bible is not an attempt to blaspheme as much as it is a statement of what might be termed "diabolical indignation" The fact of the matter is that they are against us, we have been attacked throughout the years. They call us Devil worshipers and that we slaughter babies and animals. As it was made VERY clear on the Satanic rules of the Earth "Do not harm young children." Perhaps if people did more research they would know that we are against of any violence act towards children or animals. The only time that harming an animal is acceptable is when it is for your own survival. The Belief of Demons and Deities
We do not believe in any Demon or Deity. The only religions that do believe in deities are Right hand path religions and Theistic Satanism and their denominations. We do not believe in a paranormal or supreme objects or deities above or below us. The term "Possession" is shunned by us Satanists as it goes against our beliefs. There cannot be a possession or demonic control over a person when they do not exist. *This thread was originally made by me and my friend but, since he is not here I took out his contributions thus avoiding drama. Hopefully this thread will be of your likeness and educate you on what Satanism actually is. We do not kill babies or sacrifice goats as the media portrays it. RE: Satanism. - Abc - 07-08-2013 Thanks, now I know what satanism is. So, the band Gorgoroth, do they show the true meanings of satanism too you? RE: Satanism. - Evangelist - 07-08-2013 (07-08-2013, 12:51 PM)Jebus Wrote: Thanks, now I know what satanism is. Depends. I am a LaVeyan Satanist which is Atheistic Satanism. Gorgoroth, Ghosts, Dimmu Borgir, Marduk, Dark Fortress, Thy Art Is Murder all them could be trying to appear as blasphemic as possible or they could be Theistic Satanists. Either way their choices do not affect me in any way what so ever. As far as my for of Satanism goes? No they are not Satanists. RE: Satanism. - Banadmin - 07-08-2013 Wow, just wow. When people hear the word "Satanist", they think everything bad. After reading this thread thoroughly, I now feel if everyone in the world was a Satanist and obeyed the Satanist rules, the world would be in fine order. Thank-you very much, Evangelist for this thread! :thumb-up: RE: Satanism. - Loli - 07-08-2013 (07-08-2013, 01:00 PM)Blue Wrote: Wow, just wow. Thats how I felt after reading this elsewhere. Satanism, and just Satan in general procurs a thought of evil, or wrong-doing. Which is sad, after reading this you realize it's really not like that at all. RE: Satanism. - Harvey - 07-08-2013 Didn't think I'd meet another Satanist here! And it's good you're not a Spiritual Satanist too. :p I actually used to run a Satanism forum but found it was too inactive. :/ RE: Satanism. - Real_FFF - 07-08-2013 All though I dislike some of your sub-philosophies, I can live with you. I will try not to sin, even though I am sure to mess up sometime. Also: I like your thread; it's very organized. RE: Satanism. - Evangelist - 07-08-2013 We are the prime example of the of the "It's easier to judge than to understand" If more people researched what they hate everything will be better. |
